Our larger cabins like this Simcoe model are infinitely configurable. We can add walls, washrooms, electricity, and like you see here, a whole wall of windows. Any model can be built to your individual size requirements.

The Bancroft. Skillion or shed roof with 9 foot front wall, and 7 foot back wall. Lots of headroom in this model. This model can also be had with an additional four of rear wall. You get more headroom, but a lesser roof slope.Imagine your new Highland Outbuilding nestled into the woods in your property with no need for a permit. Our outbuildings smaller than 15m2 are exempt.

Engineered trusses are standard in your Highland Outbuilding regardless of the size. No other builder packs as much value into your finished product than we do. Also, as you can see, electrical installation is common for us, and we can ship your build with an e safe certification to allow for easy on site hook-up.
Our insulation packages make this so much more than a shed. Our build process: 6×6 pressure treated skids (or upgrade to 6 inch steel I beams), pressure treated plywood underfloor, 2×6 floor joists, R10-R20 rigid foam insulation, 5/8 plywood floor, board and batten pine exterior cladding or steel siding, house wrap, 2×4 or 2×6 wall studs, R12-R14 batting insulation in walls and ceiling, vapour barrier, pine tongue and groove interior finish, with steel roofs only. Insulated steel entry doors, vinyl thermopane windows. Compare these complete 4 season features when choosing a building. (We are limiting the use of pink fibreglass insulation unless absolutely insisted by you. We offer windows in the following sizes: 24”x36”, 36”x48”, 48”x48”. Custom orders and black windows available.
We offer steel doors in the following sizes: 32”, 34”, 36”. Solid or windowed French doors are available. Insulated wooden doors available by special request. Sorry we do not offer roll up or sliding doors at this time.
